Thanks to its high weight and a perfectly coordinated drive concept, the locomotive has high tractive power, which is further optimized by the factory-integrated digital decoder. The model is rounded off by the clean, prototypical paintwork and the elaborate printing. The model has a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker ex works.
The model bears the “fits mfx®” quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital centers, a new quality mark “fits mfx®” was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx® test and have passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the “fits mfx®” quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx®” logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
