Trix HO 25729 Märklin Works Loco in Györ Fall 2026

Prototype: Class M28 diesel switcher locomotive as a works loco at the Märklin factory in Györ, Hungary. Former switcher loco of the Hungarian State Railroad (MÁV). Chrome-oxide green basic paint scheme. Road number M28.1001. The loco looks as it did in era IV following its recent cosmetic overhaul.

  Model: The model is equipped with a 21-pin digital interface. It also has a controlled high-performance motor. Both axles are powered, one of them via the coupling rod. Traction tires are fitted. The triple headlights change ends with the direction of travel in analog operation. Maintenance-free, warm-white LEDs are used for the lighting. Grab irons and many other details are separately applied. The buffer height conforms to NEM specifications. Length over the buffers approximately 8.5 cm / 3-3/8".

  A matching freight car set is available as item 24191. It is also available in the Märklin H0 range as item 47327, an exclusive Club model that includes information about the necessary replacement wheel sets. A fully equipped digital version of this model is available as item 25728. An AC version is also available in the Märklin H0 range as item 38280.
