Trix HO 23729 US Heavyweight Passenger Car Set Fall 2026 MHI Q3

Prototype: US heavyweight passenger car set comprising four cars of different types: One four-axle baggage-chair car as a combined baggage and seating car. Two six-axle chair cars (coaches) as dedicated seating cars. One six-axle observation car with a business lounge and viewing platform at one end. All cars feature the two-tone gray paint scheme of the American railroad company Union Pacific (UP). The cars look as they did around 1948/1952.

Product description

Model: All cars have factory-installed interior lighting with warm white LEDs and buffer capacitors. The combined baggage and seating car has a digital decoder for controlling various light functions and a power pickup shoe that supplies current to the entire consist. There are factory-installed, current-conducting, close coupler heads between the individual cars. The cars must be coupled in a defined sequence for this. The car end with the baggage compartment and the car end with the viewing platform are each fitted with normal close coupler heads. Total length approx. 112 cm / 44-1/8".

The heavyweight passenger car set, item 23729, matches the US “Challenger” steam locomotive, item 25913.
