The Rem 476 series locomotives are increasingly appearing in the new Coop livery. Rem 476 457 "Aargau" has been in service since spring 2025 and its appearance has been adapted to match the three Euro 9000 locomotives used by railCare. All seven Vectron locomotives in the fleet are being gradually converted from their previous white livery to the Coop design. With seven Vectron locomotives, three Euro 9000 locomotives, and additional leased locomotives, railCare operates a nationwide freight commuter rail network. This ensures fast, reliable, and cost-efficient transport between the regional distribution centers (hubs). The hubs are the central interfaces between road and rail. In horizontal transshipment, swap bodies are efficiently transferred between trucks and trains. In 2024, railCare handled a total of 308,492 transshipments at its ten locations. The company utilizes both its own facilities on industrial sites with rail sidings and existing open-air loading stations operated by infrastructure managers.
