Piko HO 52969 ~V 160 010 Diesel DB III Sound AC 2024 New Item
Novelty 2024:
The V 160 010 of the DB in Era III as a prototypical variant of the BR 216 from PIKO. During construction, the specific features of the prototype were precisely transferred to the model.
In the 1960s and 1970s, the V 160 and 216 series were the express train locomotives for routes without contact wires on the Federal Railway. The PIKO model combines prototypical implementation with excellent driving characteristics. These attributes are underlined by the effective use of perfect engravings and a paint finish that is consistent down to the smallest detail. Contemporary LED technology serves as the basis for the light change in red/white as well as the digitally switchable light functions. The model is factory equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder with a large speaker. The buffer beam of the vehicle can be completed prototypically using the included accessories.
The model bears the âfits mfxâ quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital centers, a new quality mark âfits mfxâ was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx test and have passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the âfits mfxâ quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx functionality. This means that PIKO products with the âfits mfxâ logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx.
