NS Rh 1100 electric locomotive with blue paint and yellow stems in era IV.

To protect the staff in the event of accidents, the 1100 series locomotives were subsequently given stems similar to those of the 1700 series. The PIKO model has sharply engraved bogie panels with realistic replicas of the spring packs and true-to-original replicas of the buffer beams. The lighting is done using LEDs. The driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as the front and tail lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The heavy die-cast zinc frame and the motor with two large, precisely balanced flywheels ensure excellent driving characteristics and high pulling forces. The model has a tidy circuit board with a PluX22 interface and is prepared for easy retrofitting with a sound decoder and large speaker.
