Prototype: Type C4ü express train car, 3rd class, standard design 1928-30 of the German State Railroad of the GDR (DR/GDR). Consist number 3. Train route for the D 11 express train: Dresden-Warnemünde. Bottle green basic paint scheme. The car looks as it did in Era IIIa, beginning of the Fifties.

    Model: The car is detailed in full scale length. The minimum radius for operation is 360 mm / 14-3/16". The trucks are type Görlitz II heavy. The car has separately applied ladders and grab irons. The interior details are multi-colored. The car route signs and consist numbers are imprinted. A short diaphragm is included for swapping on the car. 72024 current-conducting close couplers can be installed on the car, as well as the 73410/73411 LED interior lights and the 73406 pickup shoe. Length over the buffers 25 cm / 9-7/8".
    DC wheelset: E700600.

    The new tooling for the class 19.0 "Saxon Pride" express train steam locomotive to go with this car can be found under item number 38190 in the Märklin H0 assortment. The individual car 42522 with the consist number 3 can be lengthened with the 42514 express train car set to make up the prototypical D 11 express train.
