Maintenance-free, warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. There is an adjustable coupling with a guide mechanism between the locomotive and tender. The front of the locomotive has an NEM pocket and a close coupler. The rear of the tender has an NEM pocket, a close coupler, and a guide mechanism.
