The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at Locomotive End 2 and 1 can be turned off separately in digital operation. There is the Double A Light function. The cab lights change over with the direction of travel. They and the engine room lighting can be digitally controlled. The headlights and marker lights are maintenance-free, warm white and red LEDs. The locomotive has a buffer capacitor. The detailed roof equipment includes type DBS 54 pantographs. The pantographs can be raised and lowered digitally. There are many separately applied parts such as grab irons, steps, and UIC outlets.
