Between 1910 and 1916, a total of 512 T 13 locomotives were built for the Prussian State Railways by various manufacturers. In 1925, the German Reichsbahn incorporated the T 13 into its numbering system as Class 92.5-10, with operating numbers 92 501–913 and 92 1001–1072. The DB retired the last locomotive in 1965 at the Kassel locomotive depot.
