Function Decoder Only - Will Not Run A Train
The LokPilot 5 Fx micro and its “twin” LokPilot 5 Fx micro DCC is an extremely small function decoder with a footprint of only 8.0mm x 7.0mm and a thickness of only 2.4mm (on the capacitor:2.9 mm). It is used in all vehicles of nominal sizes N to H0 that do not need a motor output, but should still be able to switch lighting effects. LokPilot 5 Fx micro decoders are always offered with an 8-pin interface.
The LokPilot 5 Fx DCC “only” speaks the DCC protocol, but can also do it automatically with RailComPlus®On RailComPlus command stations. The LokPilot 5 Fx micro decoder recognizes the Märklin® braking distances as well as the ZIMO® HLU / ZACKCommands or the Lenz® ABC system. Also braking with DCC brake modules or with DC voltage is possible. It also stops with a Selectrix® brake diode. An ABC automatic shuttle trainenables automatic commuting between two train stations. This is also witha function decoder is important in order to be able to synchronize control cars and motor vehicles. The LokPilot 5 Fx decoder can be used on analog DC railways. The decoder switches between the operating modes fully automatically "on-the-fly".
The LokPilot 5 Fx micro or LokPilot 5 Fx micro DCC has been equipped with an astonishing number of function outputs. There are 6 amplified function outputs with 180mA output current each and two logic level outputs for servos or Susi. The brightness of each output can be adjusted separately.
