The Mercedes racing transporter "The Blue Wonder" Bj. 1955-1967 with 300 SLR Roadster

LEGRAND 1:87 plastic model set, very detailed design and printing, filigree rims, length: 79mm

This spectacular transporter was created in 1955 at the request of the successful race director Alfred Neubauer, on the extended chassis of a Mercedes-Benz 300 S and with the engine of the 300 SL. For many years it was the "fastest truck in the world" and was used exclusively to transport Mercedes-Benz racing cars. From 1956 the racing transporter served as an exhibition vehicle and eye-catcher in the USA and was later scrapped. A perfect replica is now in the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.

Much to the annoyance of the railways, thousands of wagons and locomotives are covered with graffiti every year - but you have to admit that there are always motifs that make you smile or think. Numerous SBB and TWA type Hbbillns sliding wall wagons have been decorated with a series of large-scale motifs. With the series "Future is Luxury" various motifs were created to do with capitalism, the refugee crisis and so-called First World Problems.

These Albert Modell wagons are a true work of art and are produced in limited numbers.

... and finally: just over a month ago I advertised LS Models Agc B-Series 4 Piece Modern Commuter Train 81500 "TER Bourgogne" in AC/Sound. Models have been received from Germany and they are as detailed and beautiful as promised. All orders have been filled and I have 2 models looking for home!
