Roco 175 Years of Swiss Railroads

An important anniversary is coming up this year in Switzerland. 175 years ago, on August 9, 1847, the first railroad ran between Zurich and Baden on the so-called "Spanish Brötli Railway".

The timetable operation for passenger traffic and the further development of train traffic in Switzerland started on this very date.

 In cooperation with the SBB and the designer Mrs. Geiblinger we created again an interesting model for this anniversary.

The ceremonial rollout took place today in Yverdon-les-Bains.
