With the superbly detailed model of the class 118 cult locomotives PIKO is setting a worthy monument to another old German electric locomotive.

The PIKO model impresses with the harmonious implementation of its prototype machine for the Federal Railroad. To be emphasized are the fine wheel sets the exact replica of the prototypical roof equipment with filigree pantographs and the exact replica of the front sections.

The driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as the front and rear lights which function depending on the direction of travel can be controlled digitally with the PluX22 decoder. The model which is provided with a zinc die-cast frame has excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces.

Retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is prepared on the tidy circuit board with PluX22 interface.
