Now this all-rounder from DB AG is also represented as a PIKO Expert model.

The modern design of the locomotive has been modeled exactly. The single-arm pantographs have been reproduced in an extremely filigree manner. Sharply engraved bogies round off the visual appearance.

Brake hoses that can be retrofitted are included to complement this.

A powerful 5-pole motor ensures free travel. Equipped with two flywheels the PIKO BR 101 stands out with its extremely smooth running. Two diagonally attached traction tires provide traction when moving forward.

The technical highlight are the built-in driver's cab and driver's desk lighting. The light changes depending on the direction of travel in red / white of course made using the latest LED technology. These functions can be switched separately in digital mode.

The sound version is delivered from the factory with a PSD XP 5.1 S SoundDecoder. As a further highlight the BR 101 has PIKO TrainSound® onboard.
