The PIKO model of the 1100 series of the Dutch State Railways NS in the scale 1: 160 convinces with a successful mold construction with coherent roof curves and many attached parts, such as fine insulators and pantographs, free-standing handle bars and stairs. The model has the right lamp shape, sharply engraved bogie trims with realistic replicas of the spring packs and miniatures of the buffer beams that are true to the original. The front and tail lights, which depend on the direction of travel, are designed using LED technology. The Piko motor ensures excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces. The model has a tidy board with Next18 interface and is equipped for easy retrofitting of a decoder.
