The PIKO models from NoHAB can also benefit from the undisputed elegance of the model. In order to achieve this overall impression, great attention was paid to details. The side ventilation grilles are designed as strongly structured elements of the locomotive body with fine etched parts and are an absolute eye-catcher. But the striking front windows and the side âportholesâ also contribute to the excellent image thanks to the perfectly flush fit. The impression is completed by the precise and highly detailed design of the bogies. A powerful and smooth-running motor with two flywheels serves as the drive. The model, which is factory-equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder, impresses with its numerous digital functions and robust sound on the system.
The model bears the âfits mfx®â quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital centers, a new quality mark âfits mfx®â was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx® test and have passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the âfits mfx®â quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the âfits mfx®â logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
